Copper is one of my favor
metals to work with. It is a
beautiful warm earthy color,
you can leave it like it is, or
oxidize it to bring out any
texturing that you may have
done. Oxidizing will also give
it a antique look. The color
you get when oxidized
depends on how long its left
in the liver of sulfur. The
long it is left in solution, you
can get almost a blue color.
When exposed to the
elements, over time it will
turn a greenish color.
A lot of people like to wear
copper, because it is
believed to have
healing
abilities. Its is said to detox
and reduce inflammation in
the joints from arthritic and
rheumatic pain, improve
blood circulation, increasing
energy, stabilizing
metabolism and improving
oxygen use.
